The Cowaramup Tennis Club recently completed a significant lighting upgrade, made possible through funding from the Clubs Night Lights Program. This initiative, led by the Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries, required equal contributions from the Club, the Local Government, and the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF).
The project involved the installation of two new 12-metre poles and the replacement of outdated metal halide lighting with energy-efficient, high-performance LED fixtures. To ensure the upgrade met all requirements, Vizona provided a detailed lighting design during the tendering stage. This design ensured compliance with Australian standards and the required lux levels for tennis court lighting.
The outcome exceeded expectations, with lux levels and uniformity surpassing the minimum requirements. Club members have expressed their delight with the improved lighting quality, which significantly enhances their playing experience.
The project was successfully completed on time and within budget, showcasing Vizona's commitment to delivering high-quality lighting solutions tailored to community needs.
